Fire of Grandeur
On these powerful, sinewy, limber, graceful feet
I bound through the dark tangled foliage of the forest
A blaze of fury, of majesty trailing in my wake
The flowing scarf of my power, the symbol of my pure
Strength. My absolute rule.
-
Second only to Entei,
The power of flame roars in my spirit ever immense
My pride, my glory, my life—the heat of fire
That can assist, destroy; a hundred-mood temperament
That no man can rein.
-
This is the strength that instills such awe in my subjects
Their powers so diminutive beside mine
The mane of my monarchy shines against the strength of my frame
The blazing, fire-like rich fur that runs smoothly over my flanks
Are like a cloak that raises me above all others in status
Mark my position at the top of the hierarchy of the forest.
-
For all others fear me. They fear my dreadful skill
My deadly accuracy and speed, my bottomless rage
That can be awakened with the strike of dull rock.
-
Then will I burn. Burn in the deep black tangle of the inner forest
Like a torch, then the inferno of a volcano that knows no bounds
And they will all see the power, see that I am ranks above them
Superior. One that no one can master, the supreme ruler of this
Niche of nature, my own unwritten kingdom.
-
Who dares challenge me? I am the master of fire,
The one who can bend and shape it with mere will and force.
All who attempt to stand against me will feel my sheer, untamed power
And know that I rule over them
Grand, powerful, terrifying.
Master of the flame.
